La Sergue
- Lalande de Pomerol |
2001 La Sergue - Lalande de Pomerol,
Bordeaux, France
2007 April - Currant, brioche with a mentholated note.
Progressive attack opening to a silky and fruity mouth with fine
tannins and a good length. 2001 La Sergue is a wine of average
complexity but it provides a nice pleasure at this stage of
evolution. Good QPR value. |

2001 La Sergue - Lalande de Pomerol,
Bordeaux, France
2007 January - decanted 1 hour.
2001 Chateau La Sergue. Deep and intense ruby color. Chateau La
Sergue has an attractive
spicy nose with
ripe fruit fragrances, black cherries and plums.
Tight
body with marked but very
soft
tannins. A well
extracted and concentrated wine, that one can drink today, but
with a very promising future (2010 - 2020). 89/100.
