1999 Rauzan Segla - Margaux,
Bordeaux, France
Mix of
green grass and red fruits
aromas. Well
balanced with a nice tight
structure. The
finish
of this 1999 Rauzan Segla is a little short but the global impression remains positive. 87/100

2000 Rauzan Segla - Margaux,
Bordeaux, France
2000 Rauzan Segla: 61%
Cabernet
Sauvignon - 35%
Merlot - 2%
Cabernet
Franc - 2%
Petit Verdot
Lovely
deep dark ruby appearance. Slightly torrefied
nose, dominated by red fruits. Slightly milky sensation. 2000 Rauzan Segla's structure is classical, without great power, but archetypally "Margaux". This 2000 Rauzan Segla lacks intensity, especially for a 2nd growth. Rauzan Segla should have done better given the potential of the 2000
vintage. 87/100
