aromas of
vanilla cream overlaid by a subtle raspberry and redcurrant sauce. The
structure is still noticeably
oaky, but it really does express well Pontet Canet's soil: a full-on, genuine
Pauillac! Very expressive with magnificent purity. 91/100

2003 Pontet Canet - Pauillac,
Bordeaux, France
2003 Pontet Canet: dark purple color. 2003 Pontet Canet has a fabulous complex bouquet of intense currant,
ripe cherries, balsam, pencil shavings and resin. Fullbodied and with lots of black currant power and strong tannins. 2003 Pontet Canet is quite a massive wine and well crafted. 2003 Pontet Canet confirmes the progress made by the property in the last few years. 2003 Pontet Canet is a beautiful Pauillac which needs another 10 years of patience. 90/100
