Chateau Petrus : Tasting Bordeaux wines, France
Tasting notes on Chateau
Petrus - Pomerol
1993 Petrus, Pomerol, Bordeaux, France
Intense and pleasant nose of black fruits, slight tar, bay-tree,
mint and mushrooms. The wines feels almost lactic on the palate with
caramel and a herbaceous bitterness betraying a certain lack of
maturity of the wine. The body is dense but quite common. In any
case does it meet my expectations. The finish is marked by liquorice
without any particular brilliancy. Laurent Gibet - 12/2006
