1998 Lagrange - Pomerol, Bordeaux, France

1998 Lagrange :  is considered by insiders as one of the good surprises of the vintage at Pomerol. I was very impatient to taste it. Deep purple colour. Complex nose with lots of vanilla, blackcurrant and mint. A full structured body, well balanced, long and smooth. A very nice Lagrange and a good example of how Merlots in a great year can contribute beautifuly to average Pomerol wines. 89/100
