Tasting notes on Chateau Guiraud
- Sauternes-Barsac, Premier Cru
1997 Guiraud - Sauternes
Barsac,Bordeaux,
France
1997 Guiraud - 1er Grand Cru Classe:
very nice golden appearance,
Powerful
nose of crystallized fruit and mango. Impressive long
aftertaste, very
rich. A more massive than
elegant 1997 Guiraud - should bode very well with a "foie gras au torchon"
type of course. A perfect Guiraud for introducing Sauternes to beginners. 85/100.
