Tasting notes on Chateau Fombrauge - Saint-Emilion, Grand Cru

> 2001 Fombrauge - Saint-Emilion, Bordeaux, France

2007 April - Bright ruby aspect. Bizarre nose, marked by spices and sweet pepper aromas and Javel water. Average intensity, fruity but unbalanced by unpleasant sour and bitter tannins. Average length thinning out on the mid palate and dropping off on the finish.. Disappointing.
