1998
Berliquet : here again a very interesting wine for an underestimated estate.
Chateau Berliquet has been gaining in recognition passing from a status of obcure and relatively unkhown
growth ten years ago to a quality wine regularly cited within the best wines of the
Saint-Emilion appellation. The hue is very inky. Remarquable
nose of
oak,
cedar and cherry. Impressive
balanced
structure,
rich and
fat
taste
balanced by
ripe tannins and promising
acidity. A very fine
1998 Berliquet which seems built to age until 2015 or more. 90/10
