Tasting notes on Chateau Bellevue
- Saint-Emilion
2000 Bellevue - Saint-Emilion,Bordeaux,
France
2000 Bellevue : Bellevue has an excellent saturated
purple colour.
sweet black cherry and currant fruit intermingled
with
smoke and
toast. The mouth at this stage is still quite
tannic
and
mineral but also shows great
freshness and considerable
fat.
Enough
acidity to guarantee a 10 - 15 years ageing (2010 - 2014). An
interesting challenge for the new Director Nicolas Thienpont!
(Pavie-Macquin /
Larcis Ducasse). 88/100.
