1990 Becasse - Pauillac, Bordeaux, France

1990 Chateau la Becasse : In the mood of trying less renowned wines, we continued our explorations of Chateau La Becasse. The estate is a neighbour to Lynch-Bages and has a rather rusticical style. The colour is light ruby. "Smokey" and fresh cut grass nose. Not very appealing in mouth either: alcool and vegetal tannins dominate secondary moss flavours. Nothing more to expect. 82/100
