Situation and soil
about Saint-Julien area
Saint-Julien is enclaved within the vast
Medoc
appellation. Saint-Julien is situated at the North of
Margaux and to the South of
Pauillac, about 45 kilometers North-West of Bordeaux downstream the Gironde. Saint-Julien enjoys a homogeneous soil of great quality mainly of silica gravels prolonged by a calcareous plateau.
